Summary
Tax Exemption for Data Centers: Provides exemption from sales & use tax for data centers; provides procedures & requirements to obtain exemption; requires persons claiming exemption to maintain books & records; authorizes DOR to inspect & audit books & records & collect taxes, interest, & penalties from such persons in certain circumstances; provides for future repeal of exemption. Effective Date: July 1, 2017
