Special Assessment for Law Enforcement Services: Authorizes municipalities to levy special assessments to fund costs of providing law enforcement services; requires municipalities to adopt ordinances & reduce ad valorem millage; provides methodology for apportionment of special assessment & reduction of ad valorem millage; requires property appraiser to list special assessments on notices of property taxes; specifies exceptions to reduction of ad valorem millage by more than certain percentage. Effective Date: July 1, 2017
