Use of Wireless Communications Devices While Driving; Revising the legislative intent relating to the authorization of law enforcement officers to stop motor vehicles and issue citations to persons who are texting while driving; deleting a provision requiring that enforcement of the Florida Ban on Texting While Driving Law be accomplished only as a secondary action; requiring deposit of fines into the Emergency Medical Services Trust Fund, etc. Effective Date: 10/1/2017
