SB 1676 Child Transportation Safety (2016 Session)
Child Transportation Safety; Citing this act as the “Haile Brockington Act"; requiring vehicles used to transport children by public entities or by private organizations for hire to be equipped with a certain alarm system by a specified date; requiring the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, the Department of Children and Families, and the State Board of Education to adopt rules and maintain a list of alarm manufacturers and approved alarm systems, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2016
