Health Care; Creating the “Florida Hospital Patient Protection Act”; requiring minimum staffing levels of direct care registered nurses in a health care facility; prohibiting a health care facility from using an acuity-adjustable unit to care for a patient; requiring that the agency develop uniform standards for use by health care facilities in establishing nurse staffing requirements, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2015
