Foster Care; Providing additional caregiver responsibilities; requiring background screening and drug testing of potential and current caregivers; providing additional criteria under which a child may be removed from a foster home; authorizing the Department of Children and Families to withhold financial assistance under certain circumstances; providing responsibilities of the department’s regional managing directors and the state foster care program manager for monitoring compliance with the act, etc. Effective Date: 7/1/2014
