Summary
Public Service Commission: Provides for nonpartisan election of commissioners; limits number of years that commissioners may serve; requires PSC to consult with Public Counsel before ruling on any change of rates; prohibits candidates for office of commissioner from accepting contributions from certain entities; prohibits commissioners from accepting employment at certain business entities until specified time has passed after leaving office. Effective Date: July 1, 2013
