HB 5301 Health Care Services (2012 Session)
Health Care Services: Revises legislative intent relating to funding for regional perinatal intensive care centers; deletes prohibition preventing children who are eligible for coverage under state health benefit plan from being eligible for services provided through subsidized program; creates, subject to appropriation, Internet-based system for eligibility determination for Medicaid & CHIP; requires DCFS to develop system contingent upon appropriation; limits number of paid hospital emergency department visits for nonpregnant Medicaid recipients 21 years of age or older. Effective Date: July 1, 2012
