SB 710 Gaming (2012 Session)
Gaming; Deleting the Division of Pari-mutuel Wagering within the Department of Business and Professional Regulation; establishing the Department of Gaming Control; designating the State Gaming Commission as head of the department; providing for the Commission on Ethics to investigate complaints, report to the Governor, and enforce assessed penalties; providing for applications for a destination resort license; transferring and reassigning certain functions and responsibilities, including records, personnel, property, and unexpended balances of appropriations and other resources, from the Division of Pari-mutuel Wagering of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation to the Department of Gaming Control; providing that certain slot machine licensees may conduct limited gaming with a slot machine license, etc. Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act and except for this section, which shall take effect upon this act becoming a law, this act shall take effect July 1, 2012
