HB 821 Early Childhood Education (2004 Session)
Early Learning; creates "Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program" (VPK Program) within DOE to implement s. 1 (b) & (c), Art. IX of State Constitution; provides scholarship options & for issuance of scholarships; provides for use of web-based or book-based curriculum in lieu of scholarship; provides that VPK Program is choice option for parents & providers & not part of system of public education, etc. Amends FS. EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided.
