Firefighter and Police Officer Pension Plans: Requires additional mandatory payments by municipalities & special fire control districts to pension trust funds & defined benefit plans; requires plan sponsors to have defined contribution plans in place by a certain date; deletes provisions limiting amount of overtime payments for calculating retirement benefits; revises provisions for distribution & use of certain tax funds by municipalities & special fire control districts. Effective Date: July 1, 2013
