Summary
Charter Schools: Revises provisions relating to charter schools; authorizes charter school operated by Florida College System institution to serve K-12 students if certain criteria are met; requires charter schools to maintain Internet website that enables public to obtain information regarding school, personnel, & programs; revises provisions requiring compliance with statutes; provides requirements for reimbursement of federal funds to charter school by sponsor; establishes criteria for charter schools serving students with disabilities; provides for review by Commissioner of Education of high-performing charter schools & high-performing charter school systems & declassification of high-performing status under certain circumstances. Effective Date: July 1, 2012
